Space is limited, on a first-come, first-served basis. In its 15th year, El Museo’s popular Summer Nights series is back with music, dancing, and a view of Central Park...what could be better? Typically held in El Museo’s outdoor courtyard, this year’s concert series will take place on the rooftop while El Museo is under construction. Kicking off this year’s series will be Los Chantas, a multinational tango ensemble based in New York City. With original arrangements of songs by tangos greatest, Los Chantas incorporates a playful, improvised style fused with classical tangos, resulting in a unique flavor. Pre-performance tango lessons will be given by instructors Walter Perez and Maria Jose Sosa. http://www.elmuseo.org/
