All creatures, great and small, are invited to celebrate Macy’s annual Petacular—back for its 13th year. Highlights include:
* Pets on Parade fashion show hosted by Lady Bunny
* Sadie, a Scottish Terrier and winner of 134th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show
* Macy’s Garden Variety Theatre, with performances by girl band Care Bears on Fire (11am), the Gazillion Bubble Show, John Tartaglia’s Imaginocean, and more.
* A reading by Laura Numeroff, author of numerous children’s books including If You Give a Mouse a Cookie and If You Give a Pig a Pancake (3pm, Kids on 7)
* Animal trainer Joel Slavin and cast members of The 101 Dalmations Musical
* ASPCA Mobile Adoption Van
The festivities end at 2pm with the traditional 12-gun “star” confetti release. http://www.macys.com
