Celebrate Fleet Week at the Intrepid, and tour other Navy, Army and Coast Guard ships as they visit New York Harbor. Enjoy special Broadway performances and help kick off our summer movie series on the Flight Deck. Watch the military battle it out in the famous Tug of War. Visit displays from FDNY, Office of Naval Research, American Red Cross and more on Intrepid’s Pier 86. Join us for the annual Memorial Day ceremony on the Flight Deck of Intrepid with the unfurling of the 100-foot-long American Flag.

Wednesday, May 26
9:00am  Parade of Ships @ Hudson River
Participating vessels proceed up the Hudson River and pass the official viewing stand at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. Senior military and political leaders will be on hand to welcome the fleet.


Thursday, May 27
10:00am–3:00pm  Pier Displays @ Pier 86

Friday, May 28

11:00am  Memorial Day Ceremony @ Flight Deck
Our annual Memorial Day celebration includes a ceremonial wreath laying, a Three Volley Salute, the unfurling of a 100-foot American flag and a fly-over of military aircraft in the missing man formation.


CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) services will be available for visitors that are deaf or hard-of-hearing. To request priority CART seating for the Memorial Day Ceremony, please contact access@intrepidmuseum.org by Friday, May 28th to reserve your seat.
