Multi-genre trumpeter and composer Charlie Porter plays with imagination and expertise that set him apart from other jazz musicians. His quartet performs classic standards along with Porter’s hard-hitting original tunes in a no-nonsense, straight-to-the-point style. The members have been selected twice by Jazz at Lincoln Center and the US Department of State to tour Asia and Africa as part of the Rhythm Road: American Music Abroad program
