With the cost of a four-year college education ranging from $60,000 to $250,000, many students and their families would profit from a College Financial Aid Workshop. As costs escalate, many students are eligible for aid. Yet, according to the latest government statistics, millions of eligible students do not even apply for financial aid.

This workshop will enable students and parents to find out how to get their share of the hundreds of billions of dollars in grants and loans that are available. Taught by a career financial aid counselor who can illustrate correct and accurate methods for completing financial aid forms, this seminar will provide up-to-the-minute guidance. In one session, find out:
* Which programs the student could qualify for
* How much he or she might receive
* And how to go about getting that money

Step by step strategies for filling out the Free Application for Financial Aid and Profile forms, as well as strategies for marshaling their resources, for planning a needs analysis, and for negotiating with financial aid officers, will be an integral part to this one and a half-hour seminar. In addition, an explanation of the New York State TAP program and the special situation of divorced and separated parents will be fully discussed.

Barry Fox has conducted successful workshops at over 500 locations over the past 35 years.
