COMIC CULTURE EXTREME utilizes popular urban culture, Manga, and American style cartooning to build critical analytical skills to go along with an increase in writing and drawing ability. Built into an 8 week in-house program (at the wonderful Bronx Library Center) along with two extra weeks of one field trip and a culminating exhibit, CCX will use drawing, penciling, inking, life sketching, storyboarding, plotting, video making, design, sculpture and even business planning to create an enriching and exciting way for young adults and teens to navigate their real world issues.
