11/9/10 Disney Store (Times Square) Grand Opening Celebration

The all new 20,000-square-foot Disney Store is now open in Times Square, located on Broadway between 45th and 46th Street. It’s next to teen fashion emporium Forever 21 and one block north of the giant ToysRUs.


The store’s official grand opening celebration will be on Tuesday, November 9th at 10:00am. Times Square will be shut down for a two-hour parade featuring Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella and other favorite Disney characters. Jordin Sparks is scheduled to perform the The “Beauty and the Beast” theme song, which she has recently re-recorded. The store officially opens at 1:00pm and the first 1,000 guests will receive a special gift.
