Spring Kids Fest is this Saturday and all New York families are invited to join in on this yearly event full of free outdoor entertainment and activities!
In celebration of the Conservancy’s 10-year anniversary, rockin’ bands The Fuzzy Lemons, The Rockdoves and Songs for Seeds are booked to get all the kiddies moving and shaking. And a Kids Fest first,--is the mind-blowing magical talent of NYC-based magician, Amazing Max. Hill Country Chicken will fill your bellies with laughter with their pie-in-the-face activity and you can ease your spirits with storytelling and yoga from Karma Kids.
Pick up a Time Out Kids Passport and make sure to do everything!
Get your face painted; fill up on cotton candy, popcorn, sweets from Treats Truck, and snacks from Pirates Booty and PopChips. Make a card for that special someone with Marimekko using Marimekko’s fun fabrics.
Don’t forget to stop by the crafts area to create eye-catching sun catchers with MSPC. Other featured crafts include an eco art installation from the Children’s Museum of the Arts, coloring mandalas with the Rubin Museum, paper crafting with the Museum of Mathematics, and science and construction activities with Appleseeds!
