* Join Walt Disney Pictures for a reading of Alice in Wonderland, the stunning hardcover retelling of the new Tim Burton film in theatres March 5. Enjoy a special treat from Alice’s Tea Cup during the performance.
* Kids can learn to scuba dive from certified instructors in a heated pool and test their skills on a rock climbing wall.
* Worlds of Discovery will feature “Wild Things: Live!”—exotic animals including a baby kangaroo, a spider monkey, Magellanic penguins, an American alligator, a black&white ruffled lemur, a kookabura, a blue-tongued skink, a Roseate spoonbill, a Harris’ hawk, a Burmese phython and a bearded dragon!

TOURISM CARES AUCTION
The 2010 New York Times Travel Show is proud to be working with Tourism Cares, the non-profit charity with a mission to preserve the travel experience for future generations. Tourism Cares will be holding a Silent Auction on Friday, February 26 and Saturday, February 27 to help raise funds for a special travel industry supported display at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, now under construction at the site of the World Trade Center in New York City. The display will house the last remaining scale model of the WTC built by the architects in the 1960’s.
