Queens Library presents Science of Sight with LEAP. A LEAP scientist works with students age 11 to 14 to conduct science experiments that demonstrate the properties of light waves, optics, the color spectrum, and lenses. Students learn about refraction and reflection by building kaleidoscopes or periscopes. This program is free. Space is limited. Preregistration is required.
These programs are funded by a grant from Con Edison.
