High School to Art School (HS2AS) is a visual arts portfolio development program offered by the Queens Council on the Arts. HS2AS provides FREE high quality arts training for high school students who are dedicated to applying to art schools, colleges, and universities. Students are trained in fundamental drawing techniques and concepts, providing them with a deeper understanding of art as well as the ability to create artworks of their own. Students visit artists’ studios, museums, and galleries to visually experience ideas learned in the classroom.
