Come celebrate the Earth through ACTION! Help plant trees and shrubs in Alley Pond Park. With each tree planted we will improve air quality, provide homes and shelter for wildlife, conserve topsoil and help keep the atmosphere in balance. Planting trees allows us to give something back to the planet that gives us so much.

This event is open to all that would like to participate and is great for Scout Troops. Each participant is asked to bring a native shrub (that will provide food and ground cover for some of our native animals), work gloves, sturdy shoes and clothing that is weather appropriate. Trees will be provided. Tree planting will take place rain or shine! Call APEC at extension 202 for information and to register.
