The JCC celebrates Martin Luther King, Jr. Day by inviting friends and neighbors to participate in a variety of activities as part of the nationwide MLK Commemoration National Day of Service. Participants can take part in organized community service activities in and outside of the building, and can choose a project on the morning of the event. Breakfast is served.
Visitors are encouraged to bring along a gently used or new coat for newborns and young children (through size 14) living in poverty; donations go to Baby Buggy. Qualified adults may also participate in the NY Blood Center’s MLK Jr. Day Blood Drive.
To register for activities, contact Judy Gross by phone (646) 505-4450 or email jgross@jccnyc.org.
