Stop by to marvel at 3-D mushroom houses and a 40-foot-tall inflatable Smurf. Enjoy free activities, including face painting, a photo station where visitors can take pictures next to their favorite Smurf, Smurfs merchandise giveaways and much more.

The Empire State Building will shine blue to celebrate Smurfs Week NYC and help encourage Smurfs fan to donate to the US Fund for UNICEF by visiting unicefusa.org or texting "ZERO" to UNICEF to make a $10 donation.

It's Smurfs Week at the Brooklyn Children's Museum, where children of all ages will be able to pick up a Smurfs coloring book and activity sheet, available with museum admission. On Wednesday, July 27, at 2:30pm, the museum's education department will present "Extraordinary Laboratory: Fungus Among Us," which explores everything from bread mold to mushrooms (where the Smurfs live!) and everything in between.

A Smurfs character will make a cameo appearance during two marionette performances courtesy of the City Parks Foundation. After each performance, children will have the opportunity to create look-a-like Smurfs puppets to take home. Smurfs coloring books and activity sheets will be available with theater admission.

Build-A-Bear Workshop | 11am–1pm
565 Fifth Avenue, NY
Walk the blue carpet and meet Smurfs characters from the movie. Don't forget your camera! Then make your own Smurf inside the store; the first 200 people to arrive will receive a gift.

NYC Urban Park Rangers' Tour of Belvedere Castle | 6pm

Advance registration requiredSmurf along and explore the wonders of Gargamel's castle and the world of the Smurfs in Central Park. The tour will explore Belvedere Castle and the nearby Ramble woods, searching for Smurfs and other woodland creatures. At the end of the journey participants can create their own nature-inspired Smurf dwellings.
