Join BPCL for our Peace Crane Project! Once a week, every Friday at 3:30pm through August 2011 we will host an origami program where participants will learn the simple and elegant art of folding paper to make cranes.
The Battery Park City Branch will collect origami cranes through August 2011 for a special exhibition to be displayed during the month of September 2011 in remembrance of the tenth anniversary of September 11th.
Recommended for ages 5 and up. Supplies for in-branch programs provided.
Stop by the Library anytime for a paper folding instruction sheet so you can make a Peace Cranes anytime and anywhere!
