Carnegie Hall Presents Community Sing: Conspirare 2/22/11 at Frank Sinatra High School, 2/23/11 at The Schomburg Center + 2/24/11 at Jacobi Medical Center

Conspirare derives its name from the Latin words con and spirare, which translate as “to breathe together.” Since its founding in 1991, Conspirare has brought together people through the art of song by combining outstanding vocal artistry with innovative programming. During this Community Sing, you’ll be invited to explore the combination of folk, spiritual, and classical choral repertoire that makes this choir unique.

Led by founder and Artistic Director Craig Hella Johnson, Conspirare’s extraordinarily talented singers have been nominated for five Grammy Awards and annually present concerts in Austin, other Texas communities, and locations across the US and abroad.
