The Main Building of the Metropolitan Museum—select galleries, public restaurants, and shops—will be open from 9:30am to 5:30pm in honor of Christmas/New Year’s week.
The cafeteria, Petrie Court Café and Wine Bar, and The American Wing Café will be open until 4:30pm. Please note that The Trustees Dining Room will not be open.
Please note that The Cloisters Museum and Gardens—the Museum’s branch in Northern Manhattan—is not open on Met Holiday Mondays.
Holiday Monday Family Programs:
11:00am–12:00pm, 12:00pm–1:00pm, 1:15pm–2:15pm and 2:30pm–3:30pm

Families (youngsters ages five through twelve and accompanying adults) explore the Museum through an hour of fun discussion and sketching of its masterpieces. Free with Museum admission.
Please note that all of the events listed above are subject to change. For additional information, consult one of our staff members at an Information Desk upon arrival at the Museum. Events are free with Museum admission unless otherwise noted.
