The world’s largest menorah—the 32-foot high, gold colored, 4,000 pound steel symbol of the holiday—is back, with a lighting ceremony held every evening at 5:30 pm during the holiday near Central Park (Sabbath lightings will be held at 3:30, and 8:30). The nightly ceremonies will be accompanied by folk dancing and sufganiyot (holiday jelly doughnuts). Don't miss Sunday’s after-party where singing and free potato pancakes are on the bill.
