Workshop Series with the Yeh Ying Chi International Benevolent Foundation
The Yeh Ying Chi International Benevolent Foundation is a not-for-profit organization incorporated in 2006. Its mission is to promote Chinese traditional culture and folk art in the local community. In these 3 workshops, you will learn the basics of the ancient culture art of Chinese papercutting, which has existed in China for over 2,200 years. You will have hands-on experience with drawing and scissor-cutting. No prior experience is required, only an avid interest in learning the art. The teacher and assistants will be available at all classes to help participants.
