Celebrate the holiday season at the New York Transit Museum’s 9th Annual Holiday Train Show. On a two-level, 34-foot long layout, 9 trains travel through a miniature Manhattan, from Grand Central to the North Pole. The exhibit features New York City Transit's R-16 and R-30 Subway Sets, which join the R-27, Metro-North, Long Island Railroad, New York Central, and Pennsylvania Railroad cars to represent every mode of New York rail travel is displayed in miniature! Vintage model trains from the Museum's collection are also on view.
The layout will be on view through January 19. For hours, call (212) 878-0106 and log onto www.tripplanner.mta.info to use Trip Planner to receive customized travel directions to the Museum's Gallery Annex at Grand Central.
