Along with hundreds of today’s best makers of handmade goods, they’ll be hosting hands-on crafting workshops and planning a handful ofsummertime surprises! New York’s most exciting outdoor showcase ofindie-craft is always free-to-attend! Food and beverages will also be available!
At the Renegade Craft Fair you can expect to find only the best indie-craft and DIY artisans! Featuring both local and national talent, shoppers can anticipate a vast array of independently designed jewelry, clothing, paper goods, home + garden goods, posters, artwork, plush objects, bath + body products, and so much more!!
At the Fair, attendees can get crafty by participating in a number of interactive workshops, and find inspiration from local businesses who keep Brooklyn in the loop with all-things creative.
ReadyMade Magazine will be on hand selling subscriptions, and their friends from Susan G. Komen for the Cure will assist attendees in designing their own make + take gift wrap.
Craftiness will abound at the Fair with the help from BurdaStyle, who will be on site with tips and tutorials for needle & thread novices, as well as those who live to sew. Test your skills on a BERNINA 3 Series machine and create a drawstring bag from one-of-a-kind fabric printed by Spoonflower.
Local jewelry gurus from Brooklyn Charm will be setting up shop in McCarren Park for the weekend, selling their wares and giving attendees the opportunity to created customized accessories on-site.
Attendees and vendors alike can collaborate on design, or watch their own vision come to life, thanks to the talented crew from Freshly Drawn who will be on hand printing one-of-a-kind Fair memorabilia.
Visitors to the Fair will also have the opportunity to adopt a new friend from Grateful Greyhounds, get bike tune-up tips from local Time’s Up gearheads, and check out the newest knits benefiting the Sue Rock Originals Everyone, Inc. textile charity.
