Cost: General admission is: Adult $22, Seniors/US College Students $18, Youth (3–17)/Veterans $17, Active Military/Retired US Military/Children under 3 are Free. The Welcome Home Event is free with admission—there is no additional fee to attend. General admission includes access to Intrepid, Growler Submarine, and the film, Story of Intrepid.

The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum will host the Welcome Home Event for the Legends of Aerospace Tour. This once in a lifetime event is open to all museum visitors with the price of admission.
The Legends of Aerospace is a tour that brings famous aviators and astronauts to visit our military stationed in Europe and Southeast Asia. Participants include Neil Armstrong and Gene Cernan, the first and last astronauts to walk the moon, Apollo 13 commander Jim Lovell, SR-71 Chief Test Pilot Bob Gilliland, and the last Air Force Pilot Ace Steve Ritchie. The panel discussion will be moderated by former “Good Morning America” host David Hartman. After their international tour, they will arrive back in the U.S. in NYC and come to The Intrepid for the Welcome Home Event. Museum visitors will be in for a special treat including a presentation with Q&A from the group as well. The museum will remain open an extra hour that evening, closing at 6pm.
